For over 75 years, Santamaria Estate Coffee has been passed from father to son — a living thread that continues to expand a legacy rooted in coffee and care.
Today, Edwin Santamaria, alongside his son Edwin Jr., guides the estate toward ever-greater global recognition. In the Best of Panama 2017, the father-son duo led the farm to a winning streak, with 3rd place in both Geisha Natural and Geisha Washed categories. They continued garnering acclaim at theAchieving continued acclaim in the BOP 2025, with 4th place in the Varietals category, 12th in Geisha Natural, and 16th in Geisha Washed.
But awards aren’t the only way to secure a heritage. Edwin and his son also focus on preserving their Panama estate’s natural wonder through sustainable planting and production processes. Ensuring their family’s exceptional coffee will be a constant today and tomorrow.
