First established in the 1920s as the homestead of the Monniches, Norwegian immigrant couple, in the 1920s, and enriched by the Collinses’, an American family’s entrepreneurial efforts from the 1950s till the early 2000s, with Boquete-born and raised Maria at the helm, it has flourished into a five-estate enterprise cultivated with varietals and Panama Geisha that have ranked across the categories in BOP through the years.

For the Amoruso family, upholding a transcendent heritage of coffee excellence is a kind of provision that lets both the natural environment where it's cultivated and the communities who rely on it thrive through time.

Part of that heritage reaches us through five rarities, all in our Competition Series.  There's a floral, tropical, candied, and crisp Honey-Mosto-Ferment Boquete-grown SL 34 alongside four Panama Geisha. Processed differently — from Traditional Natural to Washed  and Honey with more controlled Cold Room Drying— each Lerida Geisha displays a unique interplay of its floral, honeyed, and lively qualities in the cup.
