Multi-awarded at the Best of Panama and producer of 2023 World Barista Champion’s Geisha, Janson Coffee, led by Kai Janson and Jannette Janson, was our first BOP producing partner who helped us drive that belief home here. It was in 2020 when their family entrusted a much younger and lesser known Archers with their already world-famous Janson Geisha.

In this release, we savor the prismatic opulence of two Los Alpes Natural Anaerobic Geisha, both expressing a distinct tropical character, but Lot 836 layered with deeper, juicier notes and Lot 908 leaning brighter and more crisp, alongside the crystalline complexity of the delicately floral, honeyed, and silky Los Alpes Washed Lot 770.

Since the start, the Jansons have been our allies in pursuing excellent coffees to share with our growing global community of coffee lovers seeking to to experience the Panama Geisha's endlessly fascinating flavor profiles.

Beyond that, they have also become one of our closest friends who set the stage for one of our greatest achievements yet. They produced the Panama Geisha our Frederick Bejo used to win the 2024 UAE National Brewers Cup Championship and finish strong at the 2024 World Brewers Cup semis.
