A Coffee Heritage Rooted in Faith
Finca Nahaliel: Panama’s Devout Stewards
For the Guerra family of Finca Nahaliel, coffee is an inheritance shaped by faith, patience, and generational devotion. Every lot begins as a quiet prayer, and every exquisite cup becomes its answer.
Named for the Hebrew word for “inheritance” or “Valley of God,” the farm is a legacy deeply rooted in the mountains of Bambito, Tierras Altas, Panama. Though the farm was formally founded in 2016, the Guerra family has shaped the land since the late 19th century, when their ancestors settled in Dolega and Bugaba and helped redefine the region’s coffee identity.

Today, Itto Guerra — carrying the family’s 3rd and 4th generations — tends the land with the same dedication passed down to him. He restores the terrain piece by piece, clearing old growth, nurturing new life, and allowing each plant to carry forward the family’s story. It’s this effort that makes their coffees bloom so gracefully, with flavors that unfold like a bouquet: fragrant, layered, and alive.
Under his stewardship, Finca Nahaliel’s coffees have found their way into award-winning routines, appearing in the cups of baristas like @moment_8994, Top 6 at the 2025 Korean National Barista Championship, and @jasonguevarabasilan at the 2025 Singapore National Championship.
Each achievement is sustained by mindful practices and guided by heart, so Finca Nahaliel stands as a living testament to heritage, craft, and quiet excellence. Add their devotion to your own daily rituals. Get your share on our webshop.
