Arturo Guerra founded Alto Bambito in the highlands of Bambito, Volcán, Panama. Guided by the mountain climate rather than intensive mechanical intervention, Arturo discovered that honey processing best preserved the sweetness, clarity, and elegance of each harvest.
Since then, he has dedicated the estate to the craft. While Alto Bambito cultivates several coffee varieties, with their specialty being honey processed coffees — reflecting Arturo’s belief that the method reveals both the character of the coffee and the remarkable terroir of Bambito. Each harvest is personally overseen, a testament to his unwavering commitment to craftsmanship.
