Panama Geishas’s True Potential

Finca El Pergamino: Daring Coffee Innovation

Concentrated quality and care are what give microlots their clarity — and Finca El Pergamino has got both in spades.

Run by Yaneth De Lucich and Lili Lucich, El Pergamino began almost by accident. What started as Milan Tomás Lucich’s effort to reforest family land slowly revealed its true potential, growing into a coffee project that officially found its place in the market by 2023.

Set in the highlands of Tierras Altas, Bambito, the farm sits among some of Panama’s most celebrated estates — an environment that naturally pushes quality forward. Here, terroir and intent meet. Each variety, from Geisha to Bourbon and Catuai, is cultivated with precision, then shaped further through thoughtful processing.

With this latest release, you get a full look into their approach. The Natural Cold Ferment Archers Lot opens with red grape, orange, and mango, layered with floral honey and lanzones. The Geisha Natural Lot 2425 leans into vibrant red fruit, while the Geisha Washed Lot 31325 carries a more classic expression — white florals, bergamot, pear, nectarine, and Earl Grey.

It’s a study in how far intention can take a coffee, so learn all about it by trying your share via the link in bio.
