The Suprima Dripper One Rapid (SD1R) was designed with the SD1 in mind, not to replace it—maintaining the same semi-immersion method but with a faster flow rate to provide users with more flexibility in brewing, such as a wider range of grind sizes, water temperatures, and pouring techniques.
It features the same design elements but in a smaller form factor and a steeper angle (48 degrees). Users can also have peace of mind when choosing filter paper, as the Ruler is provided to assist in folding standard 01-size filters into the precise shape.
Continuing with thoughtful design principles, the Ruler also functions as a holder if needed—considering the very compact size of the SD1R.
