Doña Gleidis Reatiga is the owner of the Gozen farm. She bought it 8 years ago and has been producing coffee for the last 5 years. Her husband, Edelso Martinez and the one in the photo, is the one in charge of the land and the handpicking.
Doña Gleidis is 33 years old and is learning from her husband about the correct management of the harvest and cherry-picking. But for now, she provides the food for the family and the three employees who help with the picking.
The Gozen farm sits at an altitude of 1730 m.a.s.l and has an area of about 1.5 hectares. They currently have 8,000 coffee trees of the Castillo variety, to which they do not apply fungicides.

DelAgua produces green coffee at La Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia. A magical region with the highest mountain close to the ocean in the world.
Our microclimate is as diverse as sacred. Several springs nourish the most unbelievable fauna and flora; a resource and most treasured asset which we are committed to guard.
At DelAgua Coffee, water has become our greatest treasure and its conservation, our purpose. As challenging as this statement is when it comes to producing coffee, we have called this our mission.
DelAgua produces coffees through a community–based model using the minimum amount of water in their processing, encouraging our team and the traditional coffee growers inhabiting the region to become the guardians of biodiversity.

They made it in Purpose.

By using only natural and honey processing methods, aiming to reduce water usage by 880,294 liters per year (compared to traditional washed methods that use up to 40 liters per Kg).
By promoting a community philosophy by which we encourage our team, our coffee-growing partners and our clients to engage and support a model that cares about our planet.
By implementing a relationship coffee model that integrates and encourages local communities to change the way they produce and market their coffee cherries.
